Yoshi Flower
Yoshi Flower
LA artist Yoshi Flower first appeared in March, 2018. His debut track “Movies” was met with wide acclaim with the fader calling him “early Lana del Rey with EDM.” Yoshi played his debut show at Bonnaroo last year, and has since supported artists such as Dua Lipa, Blackbear, Elohim, Washed Out, Princess Nokia. He recently toured this Fall with Whethan and SG Lewis, bringing together a cult like group of fans, he calls friends, along the way. The Detroit native met the artist Elohim, and the two became roommates. They wrote the track “Panic Attacks”, which was featured on her debut self-titled album. With a sound that’s expansive and unique, he’s not concerned with fitting into one particular genre. With musical tastes that span from 2Pac, Jimi Hendrix, Travis Scott, The Strokes, Metallica, Oasis, Bob Marley, Mura Masa, and Flume, he blends all of his influences into a mix of glitchy beats, hip-hop rhythms, indie rock and electronica to create a sound that is uniquely him. Having recently signed with Interscope Records, Yoshi’s debut recording with the label, a mixtape entitled AMERICAN RAVER, was released on October 12th. ID Magazine called it a ”pledge of allegiance gone goth.” The mixtape is a collection of songs that he wrote as a way to cope with the crazy happenings in America and in the world right now, stuck at the crossroads between radicalism and utter apathy. With an album in the works for 2019 and plans to tour the world, it’s safe to say that Yoshi Flower is only getting started. Check out his video for “Just Cuz We're Paranoid Doesn't Mean They're Not Onto Us”, as well as the track “For Which I Dance” featuring Jesse Rutherford from AMERICAN RAVER.

Kenneth La’ron, avowed professionally as KennyHoopla, is an American recording artist and songwriter. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he grew up absorbing a diverse spread of music and art—The Drums, Funeral Suits, Childish Gambino and Teen Suicide are credited as some of his greatest influences. His catalog is intimate, thoughtful, and self-labeled ‘new wave nostalgia,’ his songs soaked in both the warmths and the darknesses of life and love.

He’s performed alongside Injury Reserve, Jack Harlow, Omar Apollo, Trapo, Yung Gravy and Alex Wiley, and will be touring with Yoshi Flower in February 2019. “Lost Cause” is Kenny’s breakout single, which has been listed on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” and “Anti-Pop” playlists//
