Soul Scratch
Soul Scratch
Soul Scratch is a hard hitting groove machine, built in LA's San Fernando Valley, on a mission to save the
world from mediocrity. In short, this is not your mother's soul band.
Johnny Chou, Joel Givertz, Adam Greenberg, Matt Reale, Dale Spollett and a host of musicians combine their
love of The JB's, Booker T & the MG's, Curtis Mayfield, and all 1960-70's soul. Utilizing rock solid rythme,
soaring horn lines, and silky vocals to creating a uniquely Southern California sound that has become their
Soul Scratch is rapidly branching out of their LA base on a quest to bring good times, quality get down, and
their own special brand of soul to every corner of the country.
“San Fernando Valley’s Soul Scratch are a smoking hot soul band with superlative musicianship and one hell of
a lead singer in Dale Spollett. Spollett possesses one of those force of nature soul voices that can’t be taught;
one has to be born with it. Like Paul Janeway from St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Mike Farris, Spollett is a
blue-eyed soul singer that can tear the house down in live performance. Even more impressive is how his voice
bristles with energy and conviction on studio recordings. The band itself equals the vocal excellence of Spollett,
with its right-on- the-money crackling grooves in every song. Soul Scratch is one of those groups that you know
you love within a few seconds of hearing one of their songs.” - POPMATTERS
VOKES is an Alternative Pop Rock & Soul band based out of Los Angeles, CA. The band is comprised of lead vocalist/guitarist Mike Harris, guitarist/vocalist Dylan Robin, keyboardist/vocalist Trae Budde, bassist Sean Ritchie & drummer Garrett Harney.

Drawing upon an eclectic array of influences from Prince & The Revolution to Radiohead, the 5-piece has developed a sound that is an amalgamation of Funk, R&B/Soul, Electronica & Alternative Rock.

VOKES emerged in 2016 with their first EP ‘Fractalism’, which saw a string of successes on Hype Machine and found a home on multiple Spotify-curated playlists. Now the band has finished their second EP, ‘Delusions’, out in 2018.
Hailing from the beaches south of Los Angeles, LOST BEACH combines the sentimentality of sun in your face, while pining for the unknown in what we call indie rock n roll. Native Texan Jonny Perdue came to California to further his pursuit in music, finding guitarist and collaborator Steve Stout via a chance encounter while both playing for siblings of two different bands. During his time on the coast, Jonny met Hermosa-raised drummer Davey Latter and bassist Zacc West, also linking up with keys player Davey Allen after seeing his performance at a soundcheck in LA. “Perdue,” meaning lost in French, and the band’s residence on the coast inspired their moniker LOST BEACH. From Otis Redding to Elliott Smith, the group draws inspiration from the sounds of older records and a DIY mentality of self-production.

On February 26th, 2017 the band released their debut EP, 'Nightbreak' Their first single off the ep, 'Famous For Foolin' is getting regular spins at KCSN (LA) and KXRN Laguna Beach.
