Mating Ritual
Mating Ritual
Mating Ritual’s Ryan Marshall Lawhon is a journeyman who can’t sit still. Relocating up and down the west coast twice a year until he was 18, the producer-songwriter has become accustomed to change; the very opposite of a “creature of habit”. His restless need to be on the move is a driving force in the creation of his music. Driven to push the boundaries of “Alternative” songwriting and production, he continues to release complex yet catchy songs that question the traditional ideals of genre classification. After the hiatus of his prior band Pacific Air, Ryan cranked up his songwriting
prolificacy and found immense freedom in the world of independent recording. Uninhibited by appeasing an ideal or genre, Ryan began recording what he calls Post-Genre-Pop under the alias Mating Ritual.

After topping the Spotify viral charts, landing dozens of TV placements and grabbing the Zane Lowe stamp of approval with his self titled EP, Mating Ritual released his debut album “How You Gonna Stop It?” via his own label, Smooth Jaws, on June 9th, 2017. Stereogum called it “Lush, sweeping pop craft tinged with electro energy”, Consequence of Sound said “Think of it like M83’s writing with Car Seat Headrest’s structural tendencies” while Buzzbands claimed it “More beefcake than cheesecake”.
SWIMM
SWIMM
SWIMM makes music that can be categorized as psych pop that makes you think. They combined sonic elements of weightlessness and psychedelic fluidity with lyrical content grounded in social commentary and a longing for clarity in the big issues... wrapped neatly in satirical prose that begs for more than just one listen. SWIMM is trying to break your heart but also make you dance through it. They have built quite a rep for themselves in their transplanted home of Los Angeles with their 'anything goes' parties at their warehouse home The Cube. They recently coordinated, hosted and headlined their first LA festival, "Love You Down", which was a huge success. Leading them right into the first releases of their much anticipated debut album, Sentimental Porno... to be released in 2018.
Goldensuns
Goldensuns
Goldensuns is a Los Angeles-based band founded by three brothers: Chase (bass/lead singer), Jantzen (guitar/vocals) and Weston Meier (drums/vocals). While coming of age in Salt Lake City, Utah, Goldensuns wrote, produced, engineered and released their 2011 debut EP, Wine Country, under the name Golden Sun. This DIY method that they employed on Wine Country became the formula that the band would employ with all of their ensuing recordings.

Still in their teens, the band started booking shows as they continued to write and record new material. In 2013, the eponymous Golden Sun EP was released, leading the band to experience their first taste of success. The EP debuted as Bandcamp's number one overall seller, and this momentum continued as the single "Kings Cup" was sampled in Bass King Vs. X-Vertigo's "Kings," which is licensed under Tiesto's Musical Freedom imprint. Tiesto himself has used the song in many of his live sets.

Golden Sun EP led to a 2013 US tour in which the band regularly played 1,000-1,500 cap venues. The EP's success is still being felt , as "Kings Cup" gained further renown with a feature in a May 6, 2015 episode of CSI Cyber. As of today, Golden Sun EP has been streamed over 200,000 times in addition to its 6,000 plus copies sold.

The success of Golden Sun EP led the brothers to move to Los Angeles, where they currently reside. Goldensuns is currently recording their next project, which has already seen commercial success with the feature of "I Feel This Place" in a Billabong Spring 2015 campaign. In addition, The Wild Honey Pie recently filmed a live performance of "Give It Up" and "Gold Chains", two upcoming singles. Goldensuns' new project has an expected release date of late 2017, which the band looks forward to supporting with their largest tour yet.
