Curls
Curls
Curls is a band formed from various recording sessions in the Bay Area. What started out as the next step in Christopher Owens' storied solo career quickly became something more when he was joined by powerhouse musicians Cody Rhodes and Luke Baće while recording his next release. It immediately became apparent that a chemistry was felt and that each musician brought something unique to the musical canvas. By the end of the recording process the musicians had agreed to move forward as a unit and San Francisco's Curls had officially began.
Gabriella Cohen
Gabriella Cohen
Gabriella Cohen makes music that is raw and personal, aching with nostalgia and painted with melodies that recall a languid lovesickness. Her internationally acclaimed debut full-length, Full Closure and No Details, is the product of 10 days and two microphones, a labour of love recorded with her partner in crime, Kate Dillon. Since its humble beginnings on Cohen’s granddad’s nylon string, Full Closure and No Details has made its way across the world, touring internationally with U.S superstars Foxygen, playing a string of European Festivals amongst the likes of The Flaming Lips and Devendra Banhart, sometimes flanked by a 30 piece choir. Cohen and Dillon have now relocated to America, where they plan to conquer the hearts and minds of Hollywood.

‘Seductive, broody and occasionally sinister’ -THE GUARDIAN

‘Nonchalant Queenslander’s solo debut is garage-pop bliss’ - ROLLING STONE

‘Smokey guitar pop, steeped in the Velvet Underground and vintage soul’ – BROOKYLN VEGAN

‘A Jack White riff here, some Destiny’s Child backing vox there, being drawn in is all a part of the process with Cohen’s music.’ MATT WILKINSON, NME.
DONCAT
DONCAT
DONCAT is Duncan Nielsen, a San Francisco based songwriter and performer with a penchant for rock, soul and folk stylings. His songs draw from the deep history of California counter-culture music and discuss both the hope and uncertainty of the American dream in kaleidoscopic cynicism.

"Superbly laid back Laurel Canyon style psych-folk"

"Wonderfully downcast, with Doncat's gentle poetry matched against a hazy, never-rushed arrangement."
